Superintendent's Welcome
The Shared Learning Conference has been a hallmark district-wide professional learning day in our organization for the past 22 years. The conference was first established as an opportunity for staff to share their successful practice with colleagues around the district. During that first year, over 400 participants attended. Since then, the conference has grown tremendously to include all employees and has become a part of the very fabric of the Abbotsford School District.
This year, we're excited to have Dr. Shelley Moore and John Cohn as our keynote speakers. Their expertise in leadership, inclusion, and innovation will inspire us to continue pushing boundaries in our work and in the education sector more broadly.
We are on an extraordinary mission to prepare and inspire our students for a lifetime of success. From our teachers and administrators to our support staff, our business experts, our bus drivers, Indigenous Support Workers and more, we all have an important role to play. An organization is only as good as its people, and we have wonderful people.
